On August 29, 2025, the MHAM College of Nursing proudly held its 2nd Capping, Badging Investiture & Candle Lighting Ceremony, a momentous occasion that marks the transition of aspiring nurses from learners in the classroom to stewards of care in the clinical field.
With the symbolic passing of the flame, the ceremony highlighted the virtues of courage, compassion, and commitment, values that every MHAM nurse is called to uphold. Draped in grace, pinned with purpose, and ignited by compassion, the future nurses of Batch Caelestis 2027 embraced their pledge to serve humanity with both skill and heart.
Adding to the significance of the event, Gov. Marc Ryan V. Portuguez of PNA Region VII graced the ceremony as Guest Speaker, inspiring the students with his words of encouragement and reaffirming the vital role nurses play in uplifting communities and advancing healthcare in the country.
This milestone stands not only as a rite of passage but also as a testament to the noble path of nursing, where service is anchored in selflessness and excellence. As the candles were lit, so too was the enduring promise of these young professionals to heal, to care, and to uphold the dignity of life.
