Following the Outcomes-Based Education (OBE) Curriculum

MHAM-BS-Biology

Bachelor of Science in Biology
/ Major in Medical Biology

The Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology (Medical Laboratory Science) program is a four-year program consisting of general education subjects and professional subjects. The fourth year level is the Clinical Internship Training Program with twelve (12) months of intensive practical and theoretical training in the different sections of the clinical laboratory such as Clinical Chemistry; Hematology; Immunohematology (Blood Banking); Immunology and Serology; Microbiology, and Parasitology; Clinical Microscopy (Analysis of Urine and Body Fluids); Cytology and Histopathology; and other areas or techniques relevant to medicine and/or disease surveillance to physicians and health care providers for the benefit of the patient and the community.

Graduates of this program shall be conferred the degree of Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology / Medical Laboratory Science and shall be eligible to secure appropriate license to practice as an autonomous professional (Registered Medical Technologist) in the clinical laboratory and other related field/careers.

Bachelor of Science in Nursing

Bachelor of Science in Nursing program is a four-year undergraduate degree that equips you with the knowledge and skills to become a registered nurse. It combines classroom learning with real-world clinical experiences, preparing you to:

  • Provide patient care: You’ll learn to assess patients’ conditions, administer medications, manage treatments, and offer emotional support.
  • Think critically: Nurses make crucial decisions daily. BSN programs hone your critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Communicate effectively: Collaboration is key in healthcare. You’ll develop strong communication skills to work effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.

Graduates of this program shall be conferred the degree of Bachelor of Science in Nursing and shall be eligible to secure appropriate license to practice as Registered Nurses (RNs).

MHAM-Pharmacy

Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy (BS Pharm)

The Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy program at MHAM College of Pharmacy is a four-year program designed to develop competent and innovative pharmacy professionals skilled in medicine formulation, patient care, and drug management. The curriculum includes general education subjects, foundational pharmacy courses, and specialized areas such as Pharmacognosy, Pharmacology, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Pharmacy Administration, Clinical Pharmacy, and Hospital Pharmacy Practice.
The program culminates in a hands-on Internship Training Program during the final year, where students gain real-world experience in pharmaceutical care settings, including hospitals, community pharmacies, and industries, focusing on medication dispensing, counseling, and patient health care monitoring in both local and international settings. MHAM offers the first of-its-kind “ladderized” program where students will be certified every year and relevant skillset that they have qualified for.

Graduates are conferred the degree of Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy and are eligible to take licensure examinations to practice as Registered Pharmacists, with career opportunities in health care, research, and pharmaceutical industries both locally and internationally.
