CESO: Transforming Communities, Empowering Professionals
The MHAM Community Extension Services Office (CESO) is the heart of MHAM that facilitates strategic community work. Our work aligns with the UN SDGs to ensure long-term impact through research-driven solutions and collaborative engagement.
We work at the intersection of health, education, and community development. Rooted in MHAM’s mission of forming socially responsible health professionals, CESO builds long-term partnerships that respond to the evolving needs of people and places.
Our work is grounded in a development approach that values sustainability—not just in environmental terms, but in building systems, relationships, and capacities that endure. We believe that transformative change happens through consistent presence, mutual trust, and shared learning. Through this lens, CESO supports communities in shaping their own futures while equipping students with the skills to engage meaningfully and ethically in the world around them.
